Prism payment HSMs

PCI PTS HSM approved hardware security modules for issuing, acquiring and switching: supplied, integrated and supported by ZSS.

Every PIN translated, every key stored and every card verified inside a payment platform rests on a hardware security module. Prism Payment Technologies has built HSMs for the electronic payments industry since 1996, and the TSM range is plug-in compatible with Postilion, the switch ZSS runs in Zimbabwe. ZSS supplies, integrates and supports these appliances end to end: sizing, installation, key ceremonies under dual control, firmware currency and lifecycle management, alongside the switching, issuing and acquiring platforms they protect.

Choosing between them

The same cryptography. A different approval generation.

The TSM530 for a new estate

PCI HSM v4.0 is the current standard, and the one acquirers, schemes and assessors will expect for the rest of this decade. The TSM530 also carries dual power inputs and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, which matters where the appliance sits in a resilient pair.

The TSM500i to extend an existing one

PCI HSM v3.0 remains valid for deployed estates. Where an institution already runs TSM500i units, matched hardware keeps key ceremonies, spares and operating procedures identical.

Both are performance-upgradeable

Each model starts at 20 Triple DES PIN translations per second and is upgradeable in the field at your premises, so capacity is bought when volumes call for it rather than years ahead.

Both drop into the same stack

Transaction processing over TCP/IP, plug-in compatible with Postilion, Traderoot, iZealiant Access Control Server and PayTabs SwitchOn, and managed through a browser interface.
