What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. Some are needed for a site to work; others track you across sites or count your visits. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, work in much the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Visitors
If you are reading or using the contact form on this site, we do not set any cookies in your browser, and we do not store anything in your browser’s local storage. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or decline.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies or browser storage and does not track you across websites. See our privacy policy for what it records.
The contact page
On the contact page only, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being filled in by a person and not an automated program. It runs inside a frame served by Cloudflare and reads technical signals from your browser. Cloudflare classes this as strictly necessary to block automated abuse, and does not use it for advertising or to track you across websites. ZSS staff who log in
When a ZSS administrator signs in to manage the website, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep that person signed in securely. These are strictly necessary, are set only after a deliberate sign-in, and are removed when the person signs out or the session expires. Visitors never receive them.
Links to other websites
Pages we link to, such as our partners’ websites, have their own cookie policies. We do not control the cookies they set.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies will not affect your use of this website as a visitor.
